Upon arrival found approximately 50 acre brush fire inaccessible by HFD ground vehicles. Fire
located on Ranch land, privately leased State Land in Kukaiau. Aerial water drop operations
conducted by Chopper 1 and Chopper 2. A perimeter fire break around the area involved was conducted
with 2 private bulldozers and 1 bulldozer from Public Works. Fire was fully
contained. Water drop operations ceased for the day due to fog.
