Two story residential structure collapsed with roof completely on the ground and fire spreading to nearby brush.
Arriving HFD units found the two story structure fully collapsed. Fire suppression efforts involved removing a significant amount of roofing to extinguish hot spots. During overhaul operations, a deceased individual was discovered amongst the roofing material and rubble. Per neighbors, the house was believed to be occupied by squatters. HFD suppression units released the scene to HFD fire investigators and HPD to conduct their investigation.
