This is a Brush Fire message for Saturday, September 12 at 10 in the morning.
The Hawaii Police Department reports a brush fire on Highway 190 between the Old Saddle Road and Waikoloa Road junctions. Fire Department operations extends along Highway 190 between the Old Saddle Road and Waikoloa Road junctions.
Due to the brush fire, the following are in effect;
- Highway 190 is closed to traffic between Old Saddle Road and Waikoloa Road junctions, until further notice.
- Motorists, please avoid the area and use alternate routes.
