Structure fire involving single family, 2700 square foot, two story residence. Upon arrival, approximately 25% of second story involved with fire extension into roof truss area. Interior and exterior attack intiated by first in fire company with interior search simultaneously done after it was reported that one occupant was within the home.
Cause is under investigation
The fire was brought under control in less than 20 minutes. Additional manpower used for salvage and overhaul operations. During the overhaul, the last resident arrived on scene: All occupants accounted for. Red Cross was notified for assistance to the 5 people who resided in the home. Damage was restricted to the home of orgin, with no injuries to the public or fire personnel. Scene turned over to HPD and HFD investigators.
