Community: 12-09-20 Police Ask Public’s Assistance in Locating Missing Hilo Man

Hawai’i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 30-year-old Hilo man who has been missing since last month. The family of Andrew Steven Schwartz have not seen or heard from him in two weeks and they are concerned for his welfare.

Schwartz is described as having a medium build, 5’-8” tall, 150 pounds, brown eyes, and brown hair.

Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Schwartz to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311, or Lieutenant Rio Amon-Wilkins of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at (808) 961-2252 or email rio.amon-wilkins@hawaiicounty.gov.
