Pāpa‘ikou Water Main Break

AFFECTED AREAS:   MOIRTON CAMP & PĀPA‘IKOU COMMUNITY GYM VICINITY, PĀPA‘IKOU, SOUTH HILO, HAWAI‘I

This is a Department of Water Supply (DWS) message for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.

Customers in the affected area will experience low water pressure or no water while DWS personnel repair a water main break on Old Māmalahoa Highway in Pāpa‘ikou. Repairs are estimated to be completed by this evening.

A DWS water tanker will be located near the Pāpa‘ikou Community Gym on Old Māmalahoa Highway for the public’s use.
