14-0808 COLBY CIRCLE, NANAWALE ESTATES PAHOA Structure Fire Report

7 HFD apparatus; 12 HFD personnel
20′ X 30′ PARTIALLY INVOLVED STRUCTURE FIRE.
On arrival found a single story, approximately 600 sq ft, unfinished residential structure approximately 50% involved in fire. The fire was contained to the structure with no spread of fire to the surrounding brush and foliage. HFD personnel were able to extinguish the fire and performed overhaul. HPD officers arrived on scene and started gathering info from neighbors.The house seemed to be abandoned with no power and no source of water, although a neighbor claims someone was living there. No one was found on scene and the house was mainly empty. The scene was left in care of HFD fire inspectors and HPD with the fire under investigation. All other HFD units returned to quarters.
