8 HFD apparatus; 19 HFD personnel
HFD personnel found an approximately 10’x10′ fire in the front lanai area of a large single story residence. HFD personnel used one (1) attack line to quickly extinguish the fire. No one was home at the time of the fire.
A good samaritan driving by the residence noticed the smoke and fire, then called 911 to report the fire. If not for this person’s awareness and quick thinking, there would have been a different outcome.
