Advisory: Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) is CLOSED from Waimea Airport to Waikoloa Road. Use Queen Kaahumanu Highway instead.

Hawaii Police Department advises that Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) is CLOSED to all traffic from the Waimea Airport to Waikoloa Road due to the brush fire.  It is not known how long this closure will last.  Please use Queen Kaahumanu Highway instead.  Please drive safely.
