Hawaii Police Department reports dust storm conditions on Highway 190 between Daniel K. Inouye Highway (known as Saddle Road) and Waimea.
• Due to dusty and windy conditions, visibility may be poor.
• Motorist, please avoid the area of Highway 190 between Daniel K. Inouye Highway and Waimea, if possible.
• Use Kaahumanu Highway and Kawaihae Road until conditions improve.
• Poor visibility may continue today until winds subside later this afternoon or this evening.
• Know that road closures could occur without notice.
