This is a COVID-19 informational update for Monday, September 20th.
For Hawaii County, the Department of Health reports 59 new cases and 1139 active cases, with 46 persons hospitalized.
Thank you for doing your part, whether getting vaccinated or following the preventive measures but we need to continue as the virus is still being transmitted within our communities. Please follow the preventive measures of wearing face coverings, maintaining physical distancing, and limiting gatherings and staying home when you are sick.
For today, Monday, a Community Testing and Vaccination clinic is scheduled in Hilo at Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from 11am-4 pm.
A community Testing Clinic is offered today in South Kohala at Waimea District Park from 2pm-4 pm.
