Official Report…Kamaili Road (Lower Puna) Vehicle & Structure Fire

Company 10 and HPD were dispatched to a vehicle fire on
Kamaili Rd. Upon arrival at the vehicle fire, there was a
structure fire approximately 200 ft further down the road
HFD and HPD responded to a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, Co-10 found a single passenger vehicle on fire
and fully engulfed. Extingushing operations ceased, due to a structure on fire. Apparatus responded to
the structure fire and additional units were dispatched. The fully engulfed 30 ft. x 30 ft. structure was
unpermitted. No occupants or bystanders in the area. HPD closed Kamaili Road for approximately 1-
hour. The fire was extinguished, overhaul completed with no occupants found in the structure and the
scene was turned over to HPD.
A HFD unit returned to the initial incident and extinguished the vehicle fire.
