WATER NOTICE
AFFECTED AREA: CUSTOMERS ALONG AKONI PULE HIGHWAY, BETWEEN
KYNNERSLY ROAD AND AKANA LANE BUT NOT INCLUDING
KYNNERSLY ROAD, INCLUDING ALL SIDE ROADS AND LANES;
KAPAʻAU, NORTH KOHALA, HAWAI‘I
The Department of Water Supply will be conducting a fire hydrant flow test along Akoni Pule
Highway between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
The affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test.
Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their
drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.

ANY SIDE ROADS AND LANES; SOUTH KOHALA, HAWAI‘I
The Department of Water Supply will be conducting a fire hydrant flow test within Kawaihae Harbor
along Akoni Pule Highway between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday,
August 3, 2022.
The affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test.
Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their
drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.

The Department of Water Supply will be conducting a fire hydrant flow test along Ainaola Drive
between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2022.
The affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test.
Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their
drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.
