SPENCER PARK AT ʻŌHAIʻULA CLOSED FOR EMERGENCY WATER LINE REPAIRS
The County of Hawai‘i Department of Parks and Recreation regrets to inform the public that Spencer Park at ‘Ōhai‘ula will be temporarily closed beginning August 24, due to a new water line leak. If emergency repairs are successful, the park may reopen by Friday, August 26. On August 16, a repair to the water line was completed; however, another rupture was discovered today requiring this additional repair.
The Department sincerely appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as we work to fix this issue. The public will be informed as repairs progress.
