Hawaii Police Department advises you to AVOID Highway 130 near Keaau Transfer Station due to a current traffic issue. A traffic accident on Highway 130 Pahoa side of the Keaau Transfer Station has closed the inner lanes and will require a detour of traffic for the next several hours. Officer’s are providing traffic direction on scene and traffic is moving slowly in both directions so please avoid the area if possible.
