Middle and high school students get a boost at Construction Career Days
HONOLULU — Middle and high school students will get a practical and valuable firsthand look at career and educational opportunities in Hawaii’s construction industry at the 14th Annual Hawaii Construction and Career Days, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 29 and 30 at Aloha Stadium’s lower Halawa lot.
Funded by the Federal Highway Administration along with corporate and union sponsors, the event is co-sponsored by the Department of Transportation, and is part of Gov. David Ige administration’s workforce development efforts to prepare Hawaii students for future careers.
