‘Over the Edge’ with Chef, Owner Ed Kuoha of Kuoha Culinary

HONOLULU — Participants are set to take the plunge, or rather, take on the challenge of rappelling 400 feet down the exterior of the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa for a good cause on Oct. 8. The 13th Annual Over The Edge event helps to shine a light on and raises funds for Special Olympics Hawaii.


What You Need To Know

    • The 13th Annual Over The Edge event helps to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Hawaii
    • It will take place at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Oct. 8
    • The minimum fundraising goal is $1,000 by the event date
  • Ed Kuoha: It’s a great opportunity to “get out of your comfort zone”

The minimum fundraising goal for those bold enough to take on the challenge is $1,000 by Oct. 8. And once they get over the fact that they’ll be hovering 400 feet (that’s 40 stories) above the ground, held only by a harness, they can also take in a stunning, panoramic view of Waikiki.
