HONOLULU — More than 100 stout-of-heart, strong-of-bladder entrants in Saturday’s 13th annual Over the Edge fundraising event are poised to prove that charity truly starts on high.

    • The event is one of Special Olympics Hawaii’s most important fundraising events of the year
    • The fundraising goal this year is $160,000, and organizers are optimistic donors will exceed that target
  • Special Olympics Hawaii, which serves 4,700 athletes with intellectual disabilities, offers nine sports across three seasons, with 50 area competitions and three state games annually
