Cause is UNDER INVESTIGATION
CO10 and HPD were dispatched to a structure fire at 15-2736 Aweoweo Street in the Hawaiian beaches Subdivision. Upon arrival found a 30’x 50′ single story, wood structure 90% involved.
HFD and HPD responded for a structure fire. Co-10 arrived on scene to find a single story wooden structure almost fully involved in fire. The structure was aprox. a 30′ x 50′ single family home. Extingushing operations were initiated by Co-10 with E-18, VE-10D and T-03 supplying additional water and manpower. No occupants or persons found on the property. HPD arrived on scene to help create a safe working area during fire extinguishment operations. The Fire was extinguished and overhaul completed with no occupants found in structure. The scene was turned over to HPD and all HFD units returned to quarters. HPD and HFD inspectors to perform further investigation and interview of neighbors to determine the cause of the fire. The residence seemed to be unoccupied, abandoned and in disrepair.
