This is a High Surf and Closure update for Sunday morning, November 27th.
The National Weather Service has downgraded the High Surf Warnings for west and northeast facing shores of Hawaii Island from Keahole Point in North Kona to Cape Kumukahi in Puna to High Surf Advisory through Monday morning.
Due to high surf and debris;
Bayfront Highway will remain closed today.
With the exception of Keokea and Kealoha Beach Parks that plan to reopened this afternoon pending debris clearing, Laupahoehoe, Coconut Island, Onekahakaha, Wai`olena, Richardson’s, and Bayfront canoe area will remain closed today.
