Advisory: 01-23-23 Police Ask Public’s Assistance Locating Missing And Endangered Keaau Man William Bishop Sr.

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 76-year-old William Bishop Sr. of Keaau, who was reported missing. He is considered endangered because of his age.

Bishop was last seen in the area of 22nd Avenue in Hawaiian Paradise Park in Keaau, on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. He is known to frequent the Kea’au and Hilo areas.

Bishop is described as being Caucasian, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 pounds, with gray hair and green eyes, and he may be operating a silver 2019 Toyota Camry with Hawaii License Plates ZJX 285.

Police ask anyone with information on Bishop’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311, attention Officer Branden Watanabe.
