Official Report…Haihai Stainback Highway Structure Fire

Cause of fire is under investigation
Structure Fire involving two story, unoccupied home
approx. 80% involved. One vehicle in garage fully
involved. Power line down with active arcing.
Upon arrival at a residence off of Stainback Highway, found an unoccupied two story dwelling
with smoke and flames throughout 80% of the structure. Active burning on both first and
second floors. A vehicle parked in the garage was fully involved in flames as well. No
exposures were threatened and HFD personnel were able to contain flames to building of
origin. Heavy fire and smoke damage throughout the dwelling. Upon completion of overhaul,
scene turned over to HPD officers and Fire Inspectors.
