‘Eleu Choy, Hawaii men’s volleyball team handle Concordia Irvine in rematch
‘Eleu Choy is making it increasingly difficult for his coaches to take him off the court.
The top-ranked Hawaii men’s volleyball team, with Choy gaining steam as a worthy starting libero, dispatched visiting Concordia Irvine again Friday — this time via sweep, 25-20, 25-19 and 25-19 at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Choy, a fourth-year sophomore out of Farrington High, dug a career-high 11 balls in anchoring the Rainbow Warriors’ defense with regular starting libero Brett Sheward filling in at setter for the second straight night.
