Hawaii men’s volleyball team deflates Cal State Northridge on road
The only thing that could forestall another road sweep for the Hawaii men’s volleyball team on Friday was a truly deflating moment.
UH’s match at Cal State Northridge was stalled for a curious reason early in the second set when all the volleyballs in use at Premier Credit Union Arena were found to be under-inflated. It took several minutes to rectify the situation, but once it was sorted out the No. 2 Rainbow Warriors resumed punishment of the No. 14 Matadors and finished off a 25-22, 25-14, 25-18 decision in Northridge, Calif.
