NASA: Exploring the Secrets of the Universe
and Improving Life on Earth
Don’t miss our first in-person
W. M. Keck Observatory Astronomy Talk since 2020!

Astronomy Talk – Ever since NASA was established in 1958, expanding human knowledge of Earth, atmospheric phenomena, and space has been NASA’s priority. Discoveries made with both robotic and human exploration have changed how we think about the universe, our planet, and life beyond our planet. Dr. Zurbuchen will focus on a few recent missions – including the James Webb Space Telescope, the asteroid deflection mission DART, and others – to demonstrate the power of space as a frontier of discovery and show how these missions rely on teams that make the impossible possible.
