KIPAHULU, Hawaii — Haleakala National Park encourages high school students between the ages of 15 and 18 years old looking for a summer job to apply for the park’s Youth Conservation Corps summer employment program to work in the park’s Kipahulu District. They are accepting applications until May 15, 2023.
The U.S. Youth Conservation Corps is a summer youth employment program that engages young people and helps them develop an ethic of environmental stewardship and civic responsibility as they gain meaningful work experience at national parks, forests, wildlife refuges and fish hatcheries.
