Update to labor shortage at California ports

Update to the Breaking Alert we sent out earlier today, Matson has announced they do expect to receive a normal complement of labor this evening at Southern California ports. The night shift starts at 18:00 as usual, at which time labor is expected to be at full productivity. We do still expect to experience increased congestion at the port gate due to volume.

Matson now anticipates a Saturday, April 8, mid-day departure for the Matsonia 041W and a Wednesday, April 12, evening arrival into Honolulu.
