HI-EMA is excited to announce that the Draft 2023 State Hazard Mitigation Plan (SHMP) is out for public comment!
Click on the following hyperlinks to access the DRAFT PLAN and SURVEY MONKEY to provide comments/feedback. Please only provide input through the survey monkey, as that’s the only way comments can be fielded.
The comment period will close COB, May 9, 2023, to ensure that the team has enough time to make the necessary edits before submitting to FEMA for review.

Additionally, HI-EMA will be hosting one last public outreach meeting on May 3, 2023, from 5pm – 7pm. Attendance options will be both virtual and in-person.
