Hawaii Police Department reports a brush fire near Kohala Ranch and a road closure for Akoni Pule Highway Route 270 mile 7.5.
The fire is located between the highway and ocean and no structures are currently threatened.
It is unknown how long the road closure will be in effect. Please drive with caution as Fire and Police are in the area.
