Hawaii is 1 of 12 states selected to participate in NEON initiative
HONOLULU — The U.S. Department of Labor announced Hawaii is one of 12 states selected to participate in its National Expansion of Employment Opportunities Network initiative set to begin during the 2024 federal fiscal year.
As a result, Hawaii government agencies will receive consultation opportunities, capacity-building support and ongoing mentoring with the goal to increase competitive employment for people with disabilities, according to a news release.
