Moore Aloha Foundation brings Japan to Hawaii for global exchange
HONOLULU — Inspired by the Tokyo Olympics and her dream to empower youths on a worldwide scale, Olympic Gold Medalist and five-time WSL World Champion Carissa Moore and her nonprofit Moore Aloha Foundation will host its first Japan-U.S. Global Exchange on Oahu, Dec. 26-29, according to a news release.
The four-day exchange will open with a tea ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 26 attended by Carissa Moore, Makinohara Mayor Kikuo Sugimoto, Gov. Josh Green and Mayor Rick Blangiardi at the mayor’s office.
