The Hawaii Fire Department reports a brush fire in the North Kohala District near Highway 270-Akoni Pule.
Due to the brush fire, be advised:
- The following roads are closed: Hwy 270-Akoni Pule at the 7.5 mile area, 1 mile north of Kohala Ranch. Use Alternate routes.
- No structures are threatened and fire crews are on scene.
- Please expect traffic delays. Avoid the area when possible
