HFD and HPD responded for a structure fire. Co-10 arrived on scene to find a single
story wooden and hollow tile structure involved in fire. The structure was
approximatley a 80′ x 25′ commercial restaurant and bakery. The fire was contained
to an attached storage area aprox 25’x20′. Extingushing operations were initially
performed by Co-10 with E-18, E-05 and T-010 supplying additional water and
manpower. HPD created a safe working area during fire extinguishment operations
by closing Pahoa Village Road. The fire was extinguished and overhaul was
completed. No one was found in the structure at the time of the fire. The owner of
the business was contacted by HPD. HFD fire inspectors arrived on scene to begin
investigations
Multiple HFD units and HPD were dispatched to a
structure fire on Pahoa Village road. Upon arrival
found a 80’x25′ single story, wood and hollow tile
commercial structure’s attched storage 25’x20′ area
75% involved in fire.
