TRAFFIC PATTERN CHANGES EXPECTED FOR MĀMALAHOA RESURFACING PROJECT
The Department of Public Works Engineering Division and Isemoto Contracting Co., Ltd. will begin paving the raised crosswalks and driveways of Māmalahoa Highway starting on August 26, 2024. The crosswalk work will begin in front of Hōlualoa Elementary School, and the driveway paving will start at Kamalani St.
The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, with work in the immediate area off Hōlualoa Elementary School being performed from approximately 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM to accommodate student pick-up and drop-off.
There will be shifting lane closures during the workday. Please be sure to use caution while driving in the area. Expect delays; flaggers will be present to guide traffic.
