Civil Defense Tsunami Information Statement message for Thursday 12-05-2024 09:22 AM.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center (PTWC) reports a 7.3 magnitude earthquake occurred at 12-05-2024 08:44 AM HST off coast of Eureka, California.

PTWC confirms there is NO TSUNAMI THREAT to the Island and State of Hawaii.  I say again, there is NO TSUNAMI THREAT to the Island and State of Hawaii.

You will be informed should conditions change.
