County Transfer Stations Remain Open on July 4
Scrap Metal and Appliance Recycling Will Be Unavailable on the Holiday

The County of Hawaiʻi Department of Environmental Management announces that all transfer stations will maintain their regular hours of operation on Friday, July 4.

However, scrap metal and appliance recycling services will not be available on the holiday, as the contracted vendor will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

These services will resume normal operations on July 5.
