Single Family Dwelling
Company 20 arrived first on scene to a single story, single family dwelling on fire that was 75% involved. Moderate winds in the area lead to embers flying into adjacent vacant property. Shortlly after arrival, brush fire continued spreading in vacant lot towards two additional structures. Company 11 and Company 6 arrived to assist with extinguishment and water supply. Crews were able to contain the fire to the structure of origin, and surrounding brush. Structure was a total loss. Brushfire was contained to approximately 100′ x 100′. Fire was under control @ 1348 hrs. Owners/occupants of the residence were not home at the time of the incident. No injuries reported.
