The Hawaii Fire Department has issued a Wildfire Information Statement and reports a wildland fire in Hamakua District, between the 43 and 44 Mile Markers off of Highway 19, near Honoka`a between Plumeria St. and Tex Drive-in.
Due to the wildland fire, be advised:
Smoke may be visible in the area.
There are no structures threatened at this time.
No road closures reported.
Expect traffic delays in the area.
Avoid the area where possible.
