Hawaiʻi County Opens Application Process for Impact Grant Program
The County of Hawaiʻi announces the launch of the Impact Grant Program for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
The program, administered by the Department of Research and Development, invites eligible nonprofit organizations to compete for funding in support of innovative projects that deliver meaningful, measurable impact across key community sectors.
A total of $450,000 is available, with individual awards ranging from $10,000 to $25,000.
About the Impact Grant Program
The Impact Grant Program provides annual competitive funding to nonprofit organizations pursuing projects that advance positive changes within the following program areas:
• Agriculture and Food Systems
• Business and Industry Development
• Film and Creative Industries
• Food Security
• Regenerative Tourism
Projects must demonstrate a clear connection to the Department of Research and Development’s objectives for these priority areas and show tangible benefit to the community.
Eligibility
Applications are open to nonprofit organizations meeting the department’s eligibility criteria. Interested organizations are encouraged to review the full program guidelines available on the department’s website prior to applying.
