Utility work to impact Mamalahoa Hwy. in Holualoa
Overnight work on Feb. 6 from 10 p.m. to Feb. 7 at 6 a.m.
HILO, Jan. 30, 2025 – Hawaiian Electric crews will replace a utility pole on Mamalahoa
Highway in Holualoa from Thursday evening, Feb. 6, to Friday morning, Feb. 7.
The overnight work will require an intermittent road closure of a section of Mamalahoa
Highway near Kuleana Education from 10 p.m. on Thursday to 6 a.m. on Friday.
Motorists are advised to use an alternate route and to drive with caution if approaching
the work zone. Flagmen will be onsite to provide traffic control.
