Hawaiian Ethos’ grand opening held Sunday

KAILUA-KONA — It’s official. A medical marijuana dispensary is finally serving Kona after Sunday’s grand opening of Hawaiian Ethos in the Kaloko Light Industrial Area.

“Hawaiian Ethos is proud to offer medical cannabis choices and educational resources to empower people to find medicine that works. We are very appreciative to all of the patients who joined us as we celebrated our grand opening,” said Kea Keolanui, Hawaiian Ethos’ community relations coordinator.

Along with the opening of the dispensary, Hawaiian Ethos also launched a Talk Medicine App which allows patients to track their sessions and see what medicine is working for them. This app will eventually provide patients with insights and information on what medicines are working for others with similar conditions.

“Our unique line of products are sungrown and locally made. Offering a true controlled dose in multiple delivery methods gives patients an option that wasn’t available prior. We’ve received a lot of great feedback about our products in just the short time we’ve been open. We are looking forward to working with more with patients and ensuring we have medicines that fit their needs,” said Keolanui.

Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Closed on Monday. The business is located off Olowalu Street in the Aloha Plaza.
