High surf advisory

  • The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Advisory for East facing shores of Hawaii Island from Hawi in North Kohala along the Hamakua Coast to Cape Kumukahi in Puna beginning Friday at 6:00 am and lasting through Sunday evening. Beach-goers, swimmers, and surfers should heed all advice given by ocean safety officials and exercise caution.
