Boat on the Reef Fronting Kona Inn Restaurant
Rescue Company 7 responded to a Sailboat on the rocks. Upon arrival, a 38 foot long sailboat on the rocks fronting Kona Inn. No fuel or oil leakage at time of incident. Per the owner, sailboat was anchored fronting Kona Inn since Friday. Owner of the vessel is in contact with a salvage company to remove the vessel from the shoreline. USCG notified, scene turned over to DLNR personnel.
