...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH AND WEST FACING SHORES OF NIIHAU 
KAUAI OAHU MOLOKAI NORTH FACING SHORES OF MAUI AND WEST FACING 
SHORES OF LANAI AND BIG ISLAND... 
 
.The ongoing large to moderate size, medium period west northwest 
swell will slowly fall today but still produce near High Surf 
Advisory level surf. A reinforcing similar size swell will arrive 
later tonight into Thursday morning. 
 
...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM HST FRIDAY... 
 
* WHAT...Surf 10 to 15 feet along smaller island north-facing 
shores. Surf 8 to 12 feet along smaller island west-facing 
shores except Maui. Surf 7 to 10 feet along west-facing shores 
of Big Island. 
 
* WHERE...North and west facing shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, 
Molokai, north-facing shores of Maui, and west-facing shores of 
the Big Island. 
 
* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Friday. 
 
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents 
will make swimming dangerous.
Instructions: Head all advice from ocean safety officials. When in doubt, don`t go out.
