County Increases Payment Options for Vehicle Registration and Licensing

The County of Hawaiʻi is increasing payment options at all Vehicle Registration and Licensing locations.

As of Dec. 11, payments via credit cards, debit cards, and mobile payment services Apple Pay and Google Pay are now accepted. Payments can still be made via cash and check.

“We are pleased to provide the public with more ways to pay for their vehicle registrations and licenses,” said Mayor Kimo Alameda. “We want to thank the Vehicle Registration & Licensing Division for implementing this change and making in-person services more convenient for customers.”

The County’s Vehicle Registration and Licensing Division handles applications for vehicle registrations, driver’s licenses, and commercial driver’s licenses. Payments for vehicle registrations can be made online.
