Utility work to close one lane of Mamalahoa Highway in Holualoa
Saturday, Dec. 21, from 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
HILO, Dec. 18, 2024 – Hawaiian Electric crews will replace a utility pole on Mamalahoa Highway in Holualoa on Saturday, Dec. 21.
One lane of Mamalahoa Highway, north of the Hawai‘i Island Humane Society, will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Flagmen will provide onsite traffic control.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution when approaching and passing the work zone as well as plan for traffic delays in the area.
