Emergency Water Shut-Off Notice for Kamuela View Estates Customers
AFFECTED AREAS: ALL SERVICES ALONG MAHUA STREET, ‘OHINA STREET, AND
PUAHIA STREET, INCLUDING ALL SIDE ROADS AND LANES;
KAMUELA VIEW ESTATES; WAIMEA, SOUTH KOHALA, HAWAI‘I
Water will be temporarily turned off in the above-mentioned areas from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Friday, January 3, 2025, to perform an emergency valve replacement.
Affected customers should set aside drinking water ahead of time to meet their household’s water
needs during the temporary service interruption.
The Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai‘i, will station a water tanker for the
public’s use at the intersection of ‘Ohina Street and Mahua Street.
