The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Warning for all West Facing Shores of Hawaii Island from Upolu Point in North Kohala to South Point in Ka`u starting noon today through Sunday night.
A High Surf Warning means large breaking surf, significant shore break, and dangerous currents could cause injury and death.
Due to the High Surf Warning, please be advised:
- Heed all instructions given by Ocean Safety Officials.
- Property along West Facing Shores should take necessary precautions.
- Beach parks may close without notice.
