TRAFFIC IMPACT NOTICE
AFFECTED AREA: MĀMALAHOA HIGHWAY (HWY 19) NEAR THE BOY SCOUTS OF
AMERICA – CAMP HONOKAIA; HONOKA‘A, HĀMĀKUA, HAWAI‘I
The Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai‘i, will be working on Māmalahoa
Highway (HWY 19) in Honoka‘a from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025, to make
urgent repairs to a leaking waterline.
During this work, one alternating lane with traffic control will remain open. Motorists should expect
delays and plan accordingly.
