Community: 4-14-25 Police Seeking Nā‘ālehu Man Wanted on Two Warrants

Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 23-year-old Kaleo Mello of Nā‘ālehu, who is wanted for two outstanding arrest warrants regarding a burglary and operating a stolen vehicle, both of which took place in 2024.

Mello is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 170 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. He is known to frequent the Green Sands subdivision in Nā‘ālehu.

Police caution members of the public not to approach Mello as he is considered armed and dangerous, rather they should contact police immediately.

The Hawai‘i Police Department would also like to remind the public that anyone harboring or concealing a wanted person could face criminal charges being filed against the person who harbored or concealed the wanted person.
